Today a group of Year 11 students had the opportunity to work with Solutions not Sides, an educational charity that works with students to prepare them to make positive, solution-focused contributions to debates on the Israel-Palestine conflict. The students were able to learn more about the complex history of the region and hear and begin to understand the many differing perspectives. As part of the workshop activities, students spoke directly to two peace activists via Zoom in Israel and Palestine, to hear first-hand accounts and ask thoughtful questions. We are very proud of the students today, their engagement was inspiring. We look forward to working closely with Solutions not Sides in the future as we continue to support and education our students.
