On Thursday 30th November, the Health and Fitness students attended Headingley Stadium to attend a Careers Live Seminar and Workshop. Here they were educated about different Careers and Pathways into Sport rather than the traditional Teaching Routes and Professional World.

The students were given Keynote talks on the Global Market for Sport that was delivered by Sheffield Hallam University, Coaching Pathways that was delivered by the English Football Association, Sports Science and Biomechanics workshops delivered by Leeds University, Marketing in Sport delivered by Yorkshire County Cricket Club, working in the Voluntary Sector delivered by Yorkshire Sport, Apprenticeships in Sport with Coach Core and Accreditation and Certificate routes from the British Association of Sport and Exercise Science.

The students were an absolute credit to the school, they were asking and answering questions in front of 100s of students and were confident in doing so. We are all very proud of them.
